The Lions Club of Soroti Received Three Million Shillings  from the Elizabeth Opola Foundation which is located in Kumi, Malera road to support in the enviromental conservation. In this, net estimated net worth in terms of trees is 10,000 tress. Tree planting serves as a meaningful contribution to this cause, fostering the restoration of habitats for wildlife, providing essential food sources, and harnessing medicinal properties unique to these trees. In an effoert to enhance pedestrian safety, promote responsible driving behavior, and contribute to efficient traffic management, the Lions Club of Soroti organised a Zebra Cross . They are a fundamental component of road infrastructure aimed at reducing accidents and ensuring the safety and convenience of pedestrians.
